This is just the typical regular steaming most of you might be familiar with.

What you will need:

Large deep bowl

Hot water

Large towel

Small towel

Cold water

Moisturiser (Nivea or Doublebase can do)

Get hot water into a large deep bowl, make sure theres no makeup on your face, put your face over it about 10″ away depending on the size of the bowl ( just a distance where you can feel the steam on your face but not too much).

Cover your head and bowl with the large towel, stay for 3-5 minutes ( your face must be all steamed up and sweaty).

Come out of it and dip the small towel in the hot now warm water and wipe your face with it, then immediately rinse your face with the cold water, dry your face then moisturise and you’re done.

What this has done is to open your pores, the steam entered your pores and cleaned any caged oil or dirt and the cold water closed your pores. This shouldn’t be done more than once a week and twice a month.

Prevents blackheads, pimples and any form of hidden dirt related problems.

Use lemongrass or peppermint for an energizing steam.

Use chamomile or lavender for a relaxing steam.

Use peppermint or eucalyptus for a cold-conquering steam.

Use sandalwood or bergamot for a stress-relieving steam.

Never forget: don’t do without your sunscreen, prevent sun burns cos the sun has never been hotter
